Live Illustration for Events, Conferences & Workshops
Boring notes that nobody reads. Death-by-PowerPoint slides. Post-event surveys that get ignored. Sound familiar?
Live illustration for events is a different approach entirely. While your speakers talk, a professional illustrator captures the key ideas in real time, turning your session into a vivid, colourful visual summary that people actually want to look at. And share. And come back to!

We've done this for Google, Apple, Netflix, Adobe, the United Nations, and hundreds of other organisations.
Here's how it works.
Why book live illustration for events?
More memorable
Attendees are 6 times more likely to remember your event when there’s a live illustrator present.
Instantly shareable
Finished files are delivered within 15-30 minutes of your event ending, ready for LinkedIn and reports.
A bonus timelapse
Every booking includes a timelapse animation of the drawing process - perfect for social media.
Live illustration works brilliantly for:
Conferences and summits, strategy and planning workshops, panel discussions and roundtables, internal culture and leadership events, product launches, and online or hybrid meetings.
A live illustrator listens to your event and draws the key ideas in real time (on an iPad) projected onto a large screen, or shown directly in your video call. Think of it as visual note-taking, but for an audience.
The result is a single, shareable illustration that captures the essence of your session: the big ideas, the decisions made, the energy in the room. Clients have used these visuals in annual reports, internal comms, office walls, conference programmes, and social media.
We work digitally, which means the artwork is clean, brand-coloured, screen-ready, and delivered the same day. No mess, no waiting.
What is Live Illustration? ✏️
Examples of live illustration in action
Here’s a real in-person event for Warwick Business School. We joined remotely and illustrated live on Zoom as people spoke, with the drawings shown on a large screen in the room.

We were COMPLETELY REMOTE. Three cheers for the internet! We don’t always need to be in the room with you to create massive visual impact.
What happens at your event
The process is simpler than you might expect:
You enquire - share your event date and a bit of context. We'll send pricing upfront so there are no surprises.
Quick call - we talk through the goals, key messages, and any terminology we should know in advance.
Prep - we create a branded colour palette and plan the layout using your agenda.
Your event - you talk, we draw live. You can reveal the illustration at the end for maximum impact.
Delivery - within 15–30 minutes, you receive the final illustration (JPEG), timelapse video (MP4), and an accessibility description for screen readers.
