Live Illustrating and visual notes for Google UK

At the end of January I was invited to live illustrate at Google HQ, London.

I drew visual notes onto a long roll of paper from the meeting as it happened.

It was fast paced, high pressure, and very exciting.

(And there was a dog!)

Shout out to the tiny cute dog, Ted, who kept my nerves at bay and occassionally came over to sniff at my ankles while I visualised facts and figures, projection and business strategies.

So much frantic drawing.

I’m forever amazed at how much work pours out in a short space of time when there is the pressure of a meeting going on and all the high-management execs watching your every scribble.

Officially my shortest London trip yet, but SUCH a cool one. Thank you for having me, Google!

(I can’t share the actual notes I made because confidentiality, but the image above is an example of the kind of icons and images I was using on the day.)
