Should I Move to London? + an exciting annoucement!

“Should I Move to London to be an illustrator?”

THE ETERNAL QUESTION.

Here’s this week’s video! I also posted it over on my IGTV.

As a graduate I felt like you *had* to move to London to be a “successful” illustrator (whatever that is). I love London, but living in Northumberland hasn’t stopped me getting work/making a living as an illustrator 🤓

What are your thoughts? Was moving to London a critical ingredient in your illustration career success?

TLDR; No. You do not need to move to any capital city or cultural hub, in fact... you might have better luck living somewhere super affordable so you have the financial freedom to work on your skills and work in the big city wheneve you feel like.

Ok, enough London chat. Are you ready? …it’s VERY EXCITING. Maybe you should sit down.
