What do you need from me before the event?

The agenda (timings, sections, breaks, who’s speaking, titles of each bit etc.)
Any logos you’d like included
Branding guidelines / colour scheme. We’ll pick 2-3 colours to work in.
A cheat sheet! Are there any technical things or acronyms we might not know?
A 15-minute briefing call - we don’t always need this, but it’s good for the more technical events.
Tell us how many illustrations you’d like. A one-pager, or a few separate pages?
Tell us how visible you’d like the illustration to be during the event. We can discuss your options!

✨ Our Creative Process ✨

For non-live work, the creative process is pretty much the same… but instead of an event at the end, it’s your project deadline! We also add in some check-ins along the way to make sure your illustrations are spot on.

Working Together

Your emails and ‘Robot-Katie’

We use automated emails for things like payment reminders and form requests. This helps us provide the best service to all of our clients, even when things get busy.

So if you receive a strange email, it's just Robot-Katie making sure nothing is forgotten about.

⚠️ Please make sure your contract is signed ⚠️

Your place in our work calendar isn’t saved until that contract is signed. No contract = no booking. And we’d hate for you to miss out!

Payment isn’t officially due until the end of our working together, but that contract thing is v v important as it let’s us know that you DO want to work together.

It also makes sure that we get all of the important information we need in good time so we can do our best work.

Sharing files, documents, and other information

Please please please upload everything inside the client portal. Emailing means it gets lost, can slip into the spam folder, clogs up everyone’s inbox storage, and the people who need to see the important stuff cannot see it.
