Experience the magic of graphic recording: how it engages, inspires, and sets your event apart from the rest.

Err, What IS Graphic Recording?

Graphic recording is a live visual recording technique that captures the essence and key points of a meeting, presentation, or event in real time! It’s a powerful tool that helps boost communication, engagement, and meaningful collaboration.

(And it’s memorable!)

Our small-but-perfectly-formed team of graphic recorders - also known as scribes - work digitally on iPads. The illustrations can be beamed up onto a big screen while we work. You can see the drawings happening in real time! Worried about distraction? We can also make sure the illustrations are only shared during key moments like during breaks, or when people are networking. It’s a really nice takeaway key summary to have too. What better way to say thanks to your attendees than by sending them beautifully illustrated graphic recordings to take home?

We use a magic combination of images, symbols, and text to help tell the story of your event.

Graphic recordings can be used to capture the key points of a discussion, illustrate complex ideas, or simply create a visually appealing record of an event.

What’s the point of hiring a graphic recorder?

There are loooads of benefits to using graphic recording. Here are our favourites:

  • Increased engagement: Graphic recordings can help to keep audiences engaged during meetings and presentations. Did you know that over 60% of us are visual learners? Graphic recording captures people's attention and makes the information way more memorable.

  • Improved communication: Turn complex text-heavy information into delicious easily-understood, shareable images. Graphic recordings can help to improve communication by providing a visual representation of complex ideas. This can make it easier for people to understand and remember the information that is being presented.

  • Enhanced collaboration: Graphic recordings can help to enhance collaboration by providing a shared visual record of a meeting or event. This can help to build trust and understanding between your team members and important stakeholders.

  • Neurodiverse-friendly: Our brains all work differently, and we celebrate that. Graphic recording is inclusive and fun. No more pages of boring notes to wade through.

How our Graphic Recording is Different

  • We use professionally trained illustrators to create fresh modern graphic recordings. (No pastels or ancient corporate graphic recording here with cheesy metaphors, nope nope nope.) You can have a peek at some more of our work here.

  • A timelapse video is included as standard. 1 hour of graphic recording becomes 1 minute of incredible sped-up illustration. If someone misses the event, they can catch up in minutes. A full 6 hour day is just a 5 minute watch. MAGIC.

To use graphic recording, you will need to:

  1. Choose a topic or event to have scribed.

  2. Gather the necessary materials: We like to have a chair and a desk to work at. Also, we can have a chat to your AV team and make sure we’ve got all the HDMI cables and USB-C adaptors we might need..

  3. Kick off your event

  4. Marvel at the creative graphic recordings we’ve created and have fun sharing your illustrations online!

Conclusion: Let’s Make Your Event Unforgettable!

Graphic recording is powerful AF. The illustrations we create for you can be used to communicate, engage, and collaborate on social media, blog posts, and beyond! If you’re looking for a way to have the event of your dreams, graphic recording is a great option.
