Private Commission - A series of illustrations

I commissioned Katie for a series of illustrations in December 2018, and despite relatively late notice during her busiest period of the year, she not only fitted me in, but made me feel as if I was her most important client.

Exceptionally quick to respond to emails and calls, and all illustrations were done ahead of what was already a tight schedule. Both myself and the graphic designer I was working with at the time were delighted with the service we received, and how engaging Katie was throughout the process.

The illustrations themselves were perfect - beautiful and charming - and most impressively, Katie interpreted the brief given and added both her unique design style and personality to the finished work. A unique and gifted illustrator.

Map and Brochure / Workbook - Arts Award

I loved working with Katie to create the Berwick Arts Award Discover Trail booklet (www.berwickartsaward.com).

Katie is super easy to work with, quickly gets to grips with what you are looking for and is happy to adapt as the project progresses. The 16pp A4 full colour booklet aimed at schools was completed quickly and on time after various edits from the partners involved and all are really happy with the outcome.

Katie’s fabulous illustrations work brilliantly for the end users who are 5-11 years old – the children love using the booklet to complete their Arts Award, as do the teachers!

Live illustration for Edinburgh University’s Sustainability Department

Thank you again, Katie. Illustrations are a much more fun and accessible way of reaching people - far more interesting than pages of boring minutes!

We wanted to find an innovative, fun way of capturing what was discussed at our recent workshop. Not only did Katie’s drawings do that, they also brought the ideas to life and helped attendees to understand some complex issues. Because Katie was with us, sketching throughout the workshop, attendees got to see their ideas develop, leading to a final piece of work which was presented at the end of the event.

Poster Design / Illustrated Portrait

I've worked with Katie on a range of projects, from posters to programmes to a family portrait and I always know that her work will be beyond my expectations.

Katie is my go-to person, always brilliantly interpreting the brief and producing high quality work. In-fact some of her posters have been so good that they're now framed on my wall.

I cannot recommend her highly enough.
